Lesson 1 Wool


Wool


MOst popular yarn choice for beginners. Wool is warm, durable, elastic and resists wrinkling. Wool is also very absorbent, which make it dye-friendly and may stain easily.


Wool is usually used for knitting items such as sweaters, hats, mittens and scarves. However, it is not suitable to those who have allergies or
sensitive skin.


I have choosen wool to knit a scarves for my dad, as he goes oversea quite oftenly. Wool is come from sheep. Animals firbres provide good insulation during cold winter.
